"An important part of the difference between political philosophies in responding to political issues arises from their conception about human beings; Among them: Is man have one-dimensional (material) view or an immaterial dimension as well? Against the view that considers man only as a material being, what differentiates Islamic political philosophy from other philosophies and, accordingly, its answers, is the Qur'an's view of the duality of human identity (material and spiritual). The application of this anthropological foundation involves the requirements of the spiritual dimension in planning political life. Based on this, this paper emphasizes the assumption that accepting the combined identity of man (material and spiritual) in the Qur'an requires important distinctions in how to plan human life, compared to the requirements of a one-dimensional view of man in important issues of political philosophy. This paper is organized by library studies and descriptive and analytical methods and by explaining and interpreting the verses, to the political requirements of accepting the basis of the two-dimensionality view of human identity in the Qur’an in important issues of Islamic politics (the compatibility of political laws with the requirements of spiritual identity, fixed and changing priorities in political management, the otherworldly realm of the results of political actions, the necessity of obtaining the teachings of unseen world in political planning, the meaning or meaninglessness of accepting moral affairs in politics, etc.) has been achieved.
