Analysis of the Identity Crisis of Muslims and the Challenges of Biological Adaptation with Opponents Based on Verse 6 of Surah Al-Kafirun

The identity crisis is one of the issues that Muslims face in interacting with their religious, intellectual, and social opponents in various societies. This crisis arises not only from doctrinal differences but also from challenges stemming from conflicts in values, norms, and lifestyles. Verse 6 of Surah Al-Kafirun, which refers to the separation between Muslims and non-believers, provides a significant intellectual basis for analyzing this crisis. This study, employing a descriptive-analytical approach and based on library research data, interprets this verse and examines its impact on the interaction between Muslims and their opponents. The aim of this study is to analyze the challenges Muslims face in adapting biologically to those who are in doctrinal or ideological conflict with them. The results of the research indicate that the interpretation of Verse 6 of Surah Al-Kafirun can be seen as a way to better understand the identity boundaries of Muslims in relation to their opponents. At the same time, it emphasizes the social and psychological challenges Muslims face in adapting to diverse environments. This research also shows that a correct understanding of religious teachings and adaptive interaction with opponents can strengthen the religious identity of Muslims and reduce identity crises in diverse societies.
