Abstract
All individuals are responsible for realizing the ideal Quranic society, where innate and God-given human potentials can emerge and flourish. To achieve this goal, it is essential to identify the characteristics of such a society from the perspective of the Qur'an, drawing on the works of prominent exegetes like Allameh Tabatabai. This study explores key aspects of the ideal society, including the principle of security and its mechanisms, legislation and lawmaking, social cohesion, leadership and authority, social stratification and its structure, strategies for reducing class disparity, family cohesion and its strengthening mechanisms, the role of morality, societal transformation, and the inclusiveness of responsibilities in the ideal society.Using thematic analysis and conceptual inquiry, this study aims to answer the question: "What are the characteristics of the ideal society from Allameh Tabatabai's perspective?" While Allameh Tabatabai does not directly address this topic in many cases, his views on related Islamic principles have been extracted to outline these characteristics. Since these attributes align with the Islamic ideal, they have been presented as features of the ideal society. The findings, following a discussion of theoretical foundations, identify the following features of the ideal society: goal-orientedness, security, adherence to the rule of law, social cohesion rooted in faith in God, leadership and authority, structured social stratification, mutual support within society (Takafol), freedom and dignity, family-centeredness, dynamism and progress, and meritocracy.
