The Fundamental Criterion of Valuing in the Education of Values from the Point of View of Allameh Tabataba’i with Emphasis on al-Mizan

Abstract
The education of Values​​ is one of the most prominent trends in the field of education, which has attracted the attention of many researchers and analysts in the last three decades. This article aims to answer the basic question that from the perspective of Allameh Tabataba'i in the Tafsir al-Mizan: What important and outstanding principles and based on what key criterion, govern the valuation process in the realm of values ​​education? Issues such as what, why, how values ​​are, the validity of values, the criteria of valuations and the importance of the role of practical perceptions in the field of axiology are considered under this basic question. In examining these issues, the close relationship between values ​​and beliefs as a key element of education shows that values ​​are based on fixed facts. This is the most fundamental value criterion on which other value-based issues are based. Valuation from Al-Mizan's point of view follows the principles, the most important of which are: Theology as the core of the value system, human's innate-monotheistic tendency towards transcendental values, harmony in the development of transcendental values, and the necessity of perfecting movement in commitment to transcendental values. This paper, with the method of content analysis, explains and analyzes several important issues and principles in the field of valuation, the grounding for proposing and examining other value issues and entering the realm of the philosophy of values ​​from one aspect and education and the ​​education of values from another aspect, from the point of view of the Tafsir al-Mizan. The findings of the research indicate that a criterion such as the relationship between value and knowledge, in other words, the convergence of values ​​with beliefs, both in terms of establishment and signature, is the most key value criterion in the process of the education of values from Allameh Tabataba’I’s point of view.
