Abstract
Islamic covering is one of the topics of interest and scope among researchers and they have tried to provide practical solutions based on Islamic sources. In order to implement every jurisprudential ruling, it needs methodological and content preparations. This article tries to present a new solution based on the Tanzili study for the institutionalization of the ruling of Islamic clothing in the society. In this article, focusing on the infrastructure components of this Islamic value, ten important indicators have been introduced and explained. It seems that the only verse that deals with Islamic clothing is verse 35 of surah al-Ahzab, and based on the contextual signification of this verse, ten values that form the basis of Islamic clothing in society have been proposed, which are: Islam, faith, obedience, honesty, patience, humility, giving charity, fasting, maintaining one's skirt, remembering God a lot. The verses of the Qur'an on the position of clothing indicate that Islamic covering is a disciplinary order to recognize the social-religious personality of Muslim women and men. The distinction between Muslim women and women belonging to the Muslim community has emerged in the clothing of the head and face as stated in Surah al-Ahzab.
